Creativity (Intro)

Well I wanted to put a clever title up there rather than "1st post", you know something creative, however, in an effort to be *ahem* creative, I think I accomplished quite the opposite.
To introduce myself I am a "baby" blogger, well, I'm on here anyways. I wrote and wrote like a mad-person for years and if I wasn't writing, I was reading, and if I wasn't reading, I was drawing. That was the blessed teen years. Since then, I have doubled in age, created a growing family, and completely forgot to maintain a creative outlet for myself. I hardly get a chance to read/write, I never draw(sadly, it IS my favorite form of expression *sigh*) Recently, while creating a website that I am going to withhold for now, I discovered "The Blog":

"Oooh what is this...I just type what I'm thinking, ope wait, indent five, well now that doesn't look at ALL

grammatically correct, wait have I prattled on too long?, well lets check out some other blogs, .... no I think it's an acceptable length, well, now, click "publish". We'll see how that goes"
That was an "excerpt" from my very first posting somewhere else about a week ago and WOW did I feel a rush. I hadn't felt that in a long time. It felt so good to put something onto a medium.
I did feel that clenching hesitation to "over-write" , a throw-back I'm sure from using social websites where content is really limited to merely updating what you ate last night for dinner. Yuk, not exactly the outlet I needed but it has seriously cramped my creativity. Another thing I've noticed too, another throw-back, is the immediate, primal instinct to think of myself in the third person ie: "The Cleaner is hungry, the cleaner is tired" ugh I can't ever remember having to use that except with my kids "No mommy is busy right now", THAT'S suppose to happen, not when you're trying to purge that creative beast.
Anyways, I haven't really decided on a direction for this blog yet. It's purpose, however, is purely self-satisfying. I really just need an outlet. I'm sure as I post more and get used to it, hence the aforementioned newbie, I will leap into one direction and have some more interesting topics but for now its just the musings of a cleaner.
Sincerely,
The Cleaner
P.S. Obviously I didn't post this in 2020, just keeping the intro "on-top"
